Dr. Elad Shalev, Dr. Ac. — Doctor of Acupuncture
With more than 20 years of experience in acupuncture and complementary health care, Dr. Elad Shalev has developed an individualized approach that integrates Recall Healing, Balance Method Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese herbal therapy, supplements, vitamins, and other complementary modalities.
His work is based on understanding the individual as a whole — not simply focusing on a diagnosis or symptom, but on exploring the physical, emotional, and personal factors relevant to each person’s experience.
Recall Healing — Exploring the Subconscious
Recall Healing is an important part of Dr. Shalev’s work.
Recall Healing is a method of guided exploration that focuses on subconscious emotional patterns, experiences, and events that may be connected to what a person is experiencing in their life today.
The approach looks beyond the conscious mind and explores significant life events, emotions, relationships, stress, recurring patterns, trauma, and experiences that may have been stored or carried subconsciously.
Recall Healing is particularly known for working with complex and chronic health situations and exploring the emotional and subconscious dimensions of a person’s experience. This includes concerns such as anxiety, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, fertility, relationship issues, and other complex emotional or chronic health situations. It can also be used to explore the emotional and subconscious aspects of serious illnesses, including cancer.
The purpose is not to replace medical diagnosis or treatment, but to explore the emotional and subconscious side of the experience and develop greater awareness, insight, and understanding.
Recall Healing provides a framework for exploring why we become sick from an emotional and subconscious perspective, and for addressing the underlying patterns and root causes.
Recall Healing consultations are available online from anywhere in the world, making it possible to work together regardless of where you live.
Deep mind–body alignment for Reflection, Insight, and Understanding.
Balance Method Acupuncture
Balance Method Acupuncture is a unique acupuncture system practiced by Dr. Elad Shalev.
One of its significant advantages is that it produces a very rapid response. Changes in pain, tension, movement, or other symptoms are often noticed during treatment. This is especially valuable for people experiencing pain and inflammation.
Back pain, sciatica, neck and shoulder pain, headaches, migraines, knee pain, plantar fasciitis, and other musculoskeletal problems can respond quickly. Many people experience a noticeable reduction in pain or improved movement during or shortly after treatment.
One of the distinctive features of the Balance Method is that the acupuncture points used for treatment do not necessarily have to be located where the pain is felt.
For example, someone experiencing back pain may be treated using points on the hands and legs. The response is often observed while the person is still receiving treatment, allowing the treatment to be adjusted according to how the body responds.
The goal is not simply to address the location of a symptom, but to work with the body’s acupuncture meridian system in a precise and individualized way.
Acupuncture Beyond Pain
Balance Method Acupuncture is not only about treating pain.
It is also used as part of care for concerns such as anxiety, stress, headaches and migraines, digestive concerns, sleep difficulties, women’s health, fertility support, fatigue, and general wellbeing.
When a problem has been present for a long time or recurs repeatedly, treatment also considers broader physical patterns and factors that may be contributing to the person’s experience.
The approach is individualized according to the person, their history, and what they are experiencing.
Looking Beyond the Symptom
Immediate relief is an important goal, especially when someone is living with pain or discomfort. At the same time, some concerns have been present for months or years, or continue to return.
In these situations, it is important to look at the bigger picture.
Depending on the individual, this may include physical patterns, lifestyle, stress, emotional experiences, nutrition, supplements, and other factors that are relevant to the person’s health and well-being.
Acupuncture and Recall Healing offer different approaches to these questions. Acupuncture works through the body’s acupuncture system, while Recall Healing explores the subconscious, trauma, personal experiences, emotional patterns, and underlying factors that may be connected to a person’s health.
The two approaches can complement one another, while each person can choose the approach that best fits their needs and goals.
More Than 20 Years of Experience
Dr. Shalev began his professional journey in holistic health more than two decades ago and has continued to study and develop his approach throughout his career.
His experience includes acupuncture, Balance Method Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese herbal therapy, supplements and nutritional support, Recall Healing, and other complementary methods.
Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all system, his approach is based on understanding the individual and choosing the methods most appropriate to the concerns they bring to the consultation.
